The Vega Baja

The Vega Baja territory has distinctive geographical features, lying between two arms of the river and with near level topography. The land is well suited to crop and livestock farming. There are excellent views up to, and from, the rocky outcrop with the historic city as we know it today.
  • HISTORY

    The Vega Baja is a tract of near level land covering over 50 hectares to thenorth of Toledo’s old quarter. The area is cut off in the west by the Tagus River, and in the north and east, by hills that surround the city there.
