Informing and Educating: Archaeological Site News

There is a growing need across many areas of cultural heritage to share information on work processes with experts and members of the public. As well as bringing transparency, information sharing helps to get the community involved in projects.

This may be done by technical conferencing, media releases, open days, presentations and regular information updates. For ongoing work to be viewed on a regular basis, means of access must also be considered.

Action point no. 5 of the Strategic Plan gives further details on the dissemination of information relating to the archaeological activity (see the website section “Toletum Visigodo”).
